Nat Setthana

Nat Setthana is a Bangkok-based visual artist whose practice focuses on experimenting with photographic and moving image installations. He holds an undergraduate degree in Communication Design and a master’s degree in Visual Communication from the School of Architecture and Design, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. A co-founder of Yeast, a multimedia design team practicing in experiential design and immersive installations, Setthana has exhibited extensively under the group’s name. Notable achievements include participating in “Early Years Project #3: Coeval” at BACC in 2018 and receiving a special mention in the moving image category in the Julius Baer Next Generation Art Prize in 2021 for his work “Curatorial Relationship” in Singapore. In addition to his artistic practice, Setthana has experience in curatorial work, serving as an assistant curator for the “de-CONSCIENTIZATION” exhibition at The Art Centre, Silpakorn University in 2021, and contributing as an exhibitor for “Mutual Silence” at Yeast Space in 2023. Currently, he is pursuing a master’s degree in the Department of Art and Media at Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland.
